Playoffs
Top 3 most winning drivers clinch on having most wins.
8 playoff spots. 4th – 8th get in on points. 8th place gets in on points as well, but is counted as a “Wild Card spot,” with 5 points less for the playoff seeding, as the league historically doesn’t have an 8 car playoff field. This 8th spot Wild Card DOES NOT have playoff points added, as it is the Wild Card.
Only 1 round of playoffs.
Seeding from regular season:
1st – 5,025
2nd – 5,018
3rd – 5,011
4th – 5,007
5th – 5,004
6th – 5,001
7th – 5,000
8th – 4,995 (Wild Card spot)
(Playoff points are then added to these points, except for the Wild Card slot).
Drivers who are in playoffs that win 2 races during the Round of 8 will clinch the final 4 as long as they start all playoff races,
Poles and Fastest Laps do not award points or playoff points
~ ALL Drivers must START 16 of the 18 regular season races to be playoff eligible.
~ ALL Drivers also receive 1 provisional per season. A provisional will still count as a missed start (drivers again, must start 16 races to become playoff eligible), but a provisional will grant the driver 5 points. They cannot use a provisional on, or after week 10.
Drivers Meetings are not mandatory unless stated, and will take place at 7:20 pm CST. Drivers are required to join the drivers meeting voice channel for that.,
Drivers are asked not to use the iRacing voice on iRacing except for calling out pits, addressing Race Control, or if the voice channel is quite. Do not use this to talk to an Admin. Requesting an admin conversation is fine, but that conversation needs to happen in discord. The iRacing voice channel on iRacing is for racing related purposes.,
