You don’t need to be an NFL fan for this inspiration and motto to be of value. Introducing, Matt Nagy. He was the Bears Head Coach beginning in 2019. He was the Offensive Coordinator for the Chiefs in 2018. Sometimes, receiving a loss can help us in the long run leading us to other conversations rather than continuing down the regular path. Losing can be humbling, and can teach you. An example of this in an interview written online tells this best:

“Nagy says how losing the wild-card matchup against the Tennessee Titans in 2018 when he was with the Kansas City Chiefs led to a conversation with his son, Brady. After asking somewhat in jest if his father was still getting an interview with the Bears for their head coaching vacancy the very next day, Nagy’s son told him to “just be you” when meeting with the team.

Nagy explained how that stuck with him ever since and what the words mean to him.

“What does ‘be you’ mean?” he asked. “This is what it is: let your personality show, live freely, don’t worry about what others think, trust your instincts. It’s believing in yourself more than any other human being in this world. That’s what that is, that’s what being you is.”

He then went on to tell the graduates what the message means specifically for the Bears. “Trust your gut, take calculated risks, be different, stay humble, learn names, and most importantly, have fun.”

We are all human. We all have emotions, passions, and goals in mind. There are multiple variables and different backgrounds, different viewpoints and opinions that will take place over the course of a season, a month, or even a year. Changes will happen, things are constantly changing, and we are all always technically going through our own things. Some battles are stronger than others. Some finishes are harder and hit closer to home than others. Some are winners, and some are losses. One thing will remain; We are here to interact, have fun, enjoy the server and the racing product. This league is here to learn, we are here to grow, and to be humble losers. We aren’t here for raging tempers and for fighting. We want the absolute best in everyone. We are here to be inspired.
